Iqaluit students, ready to help
Let a student help you.
Dog walking, babysitting, house cleaning, snow clearing and odd jobs around town, done by students saving for their class trip to Italy, Switzerland and Germany. Every request is checked by an adult first.
Our mission
Service, skills and a trip to remember
Arctic Helpers is a group of students from École des Trois-Soleils in Iqaluit working toward a class trip to Italy, Switzerland and Germany in the spring of 2027. We walk dogs, babysit, clean houses, clear snow and take on the odd jobs around town that nobody else has time for. Every job teaches us something about showing up, doing good work and earning trust, and every dollar gets one of us closer to that plane. Let a student help you.
What we can do for you

For parents, guardians and customers
These are teenagers, so we keep things safe and simple for everyone.
- Every request is screened. An adult reads each request before any student sees it, and approves every student profile before it goes live.
- An adult at every house cleaning. A parent, guardian or other responsible adult is at the property for the whole clean, for everyone's safety.
- Dog walking starts with a meeting. The first step is a free meeting so you, your dog and your walker get to know each other.
- Babysitting ends by 11 PM. No booking runs past 11 PM, and contact details are exchanged only once a booking is confirmed.
- Contact stays on the site. Messages go through Arctic Helpers. Nobody's phone number or email is shown.
- A fair cancellation policy. Either side can cancel. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, a $25.00 fee applies.
